After the launch of Su Li-Zhen, there were requests for cheongsams in midi length and here's our take, with modern batik prints. This design sold like hot cakes at our Asian Civilisation Museum previously and I was so happy to see this batik print in red restocked when I went fabric shopping with my baby in Jakarta.
This version is named after my mother; I have a newfound respect and see her in a different light after becoming a mother myself. Like her, this cheongsam is mostly traditional but with modern,practical twist.
It has concealed back zipper and decorative buttons.
